SEVEN SPRINGS MOUNTAIN RESORT ANNOUNCES HOLIDAYS IN THE HIGHLANDS

A Magical Celebration Featuring Family Fun, Holiday Festivities and More Than One Million Sparkling Lights

SEVEN SPRINGS, Pa. – Seven Springs Mountain Resort is proud to announce Holidays in the Highlands, a family-friendly event to brighten spirits and welcome winter! Similar to the resort’s long-standing Autumnfest tradition, Holidays in the Highlands is a five-weekend celebration of the winter season filled with festive fun for the entire family.

Holidays in the Highlands features the Holiday Village and Springs Town Square, where guests can explore the craft show with more than 30 of the region’s best artisans selling a wide variety of handmade creations. Guests can also enjoy delicious seasonal foods, the kids’ Craft Zone, photos with Santa and holiday music from carolers, acoustic entertainers and local school bands and choruses. The Santa Express, a 43-foot long holiday train, will take children and adults alike on an unforgettable ride through the Holiday Village.

Sure to make spirits bright, the dramatic wooded landscapes of Seven Springs Mountain Resort are adorned with more than one million sparkling lights, creating an extraordinary winter wonderland in the mountains. Guests can turn their vehicle into a personal one-horse open sleigh as they take a nighttime ride through the nearly four-mile display of lights.

The Seven Springs Stables will be open for horse-drawn wagon rides through the beautiful Laurel Highlands. Weather permitting, Snow Tubing will be open for guests to dash through the snow again and again, whisked back to the top with a magic carpet lift between runs.

Families can celebrate together with a wide variety of fun activities in the lodge including bowling in the newly-renovated bowling alley, mini golf, arcade games throughout the weekend and the Snowball Swim, where guests can take a dip in the indoor pool filled with inflatable snowman, penguins and “snowballs” for a snowball fight they’ll never forget! Each morning, visit Slopeside Restaurant and enjoy a delicious breakfast with Frosty the Snowman!

“Holidays in the Highlands is the perfect way for families to make memories together and celebrate the holidays in a beautiful mountain setting,” said Seven Springs Director of Marketing, Alex Moser. “We have taken every opportunity to bring everyone’s favorite holiday themes to life and create an unforgettable celebration of this very special time of year.”
