Jimmy Krenn rose from the ranks of stand-up comedians to become a popular personality and well-known host of both Pittsburgh’s top-rated morning show on 102.5 WDVE for 24 years and of The Q Morning Show on Q92.9FM. A media darling, Jimmy now performs several standing-room-only, theater-style comedy shows yearly. He has been voted by numerous newspaper and magazine polls as one of the most recognizable personalities in the tristate area, as well as being honored with a nomination by BILLBOARD Magazine as one of the Major Market Personalities of the Year. In 2015, Jimmy was featured in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s annual year-end caricature, chosen as one of the people who both represented and made an impact on the city. Alongside him was John Goodman and Diane Keaton (who made a film in the city), and Pittsburgh native Joe Manganiello and Sophia Vergara (who were married in 2015).
Jimmy has performed with the likes of Jay Leno, Howie Mandel, Dennis Miller, Jerry Seinfeld, Tim Allen and many other nationally-known celebrities with an act featuring a variety of impressions, characters and anecdotes, including his signature take on local Pittsburgh personalities.
Derrick officially made his start in stand-up comedy after his freshman year in college, and he has since become one of the fastest rising comedians in Pittsburgh, as well as one of the youngest comedians to regularly feature at his hometown club, the Pittsburgh Improv. As a young comedian, Derrick uses his boyish charm and quick wit to connect with audiences, but it’s his awkwardness that keeps crowds laughing and makes him a fan favorite wherever he hits the stage. Balancing both school and stand-up, Derrick completed his bachelor’s degree in Professional Golf Management and a master’s degree in Science, all while performing at clubs and colleges all over the east coast with great comedians like Bo Burnham, Dave Coulier, Taylor Williamson, Jon Lovitz, Jon Reep, Greg Warren and more.
