The Clarks became a rock-n-roll band in the fall of 1986 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. They played their favorite songs by their musical heroes in the basements of houses and the corners of bars, sometimes for a hundred dollars, but usually just for free beer. They covered the Rave-Ups, the Plimsouls, Hoodoo Gurus, and created a template for their own music.
The Clarks made records, toured the country, and played on Letterman. They started families, wrote more songs about love and loss, and were honored by their alma mater.
Sure to make spirits bright, the dramatic wooded landscapes of Seven Springs are adorned with more than one million sparkling lights. Your vehicle will become your very own one-horse open sleigh as you take a nighttime ride through our unforgettable display of lights more than two miles long!
Holidays in the Highlands also features the Holiday Village, where guests can explore the craft show with more than 30 of the region’s best artisans selling a wide variety of handmade creations, enjoy delicious seasonal foods, get photos with Santa and delight in holiday melodies from the carolers.
The Santa Express train will take children and adults alike on an unforgettable ride through the Holiday Village. Kids can create a variety of handmade crafts to take home at Santa’s Workshop, or mail a letter to Santa at the North Pole Post Office.
