In keeping with its goal to be the premier four season resort in the mid-Atlantic region, Seven Springs Mountain Resort will expand its realm to include a sporting clays complex beginning with the hire of award-winning instructor, Michael Mohr.


Mohr comes to Seven Springs with a bevy of professional experience including eight years creating and managing a shooting facility, membership and several leadership positions in the National Sporting Clays Association, nearly three years as certified Level III N.S.C.A. instructor and has competed in the World English, Nationals and the U.S. Open Sporting Clays championships.


When construction is complete, the complex will feature two courses with a total of 34 stations and a practice area with two heated five-stands. The facility will also play host to a variety of tournaments, private lessons, corporate and non-profit events.

N.S.C.A. Members may register their targets the months of June, July and August. The rate is $43.46 per 100 targets and that includes the P.S.C.A. and N.S.C.A. target fees.
