Imagine a beach party and a reggae band on top of a mountain in Pennsylvania. Ridiculous? No! It really happened. Seven Springs hosted Beach Bash on August 29 to celebrate the waning summer season.
The resort’s culinary team served up pounds and pounds of Maryland blue crab, shrimp cooked in all sorts of ways, mussels, barbecued chicken and ribs, fresh fruit and a bevy of desserts ranging from fruit pie to chocolate avalanche cake. The ice cold lemonade and beer flowed while The Flow Band performed hits from Bob Marley to The Beach Boys when the impromptu hula hoop and limbo contests began.
At the end of the event, stomachs were full, a ton of laughs were had and plans were made to come back to next year’s Beach Bash.
