Seven Springs’ first Million Dollar Shootout on the Mountain brought golfers with dollar signs in their eyes to the resort’s incrediblegolf course Sunday, August 30.
Of the nearly 60 players who participated nine qualified for the shot at the moolah on the 11th. The top five golfers who made it closest to the pin on hole three took home a $50 Seven Springs Gift Card. Rich Wright of Rockwood, Pa., was a mere fourteen feet away from the hole and won the coveted slot to play for a million dollars. Cheered on by his friends, Rich teed it up on number 11 and drove the ball straight as an arrow, but fell a little short of the hole. Sadly, Rich had to kiss the moolah goodbye and solemnly swore to try again next year.
Stay tuned to the Priority Seven Email Club for an announcement about next year’s shootout!
