The chocolate fountain flowed, the chocolate martinis and beer flowed and the chocolate samples flew off the tables this Saturday at Seven Springs Mountain Resort’s A Chocolate Affaire!
This “yummy in the tummy” event celebrated its fifth anniversary on a beautiful sunny September afternoon with 12 chocolatiers including Seven Springs’ Gingerbread Dreams, Godiva, Gene & Boots Candies and Firefly Chocolates. Goodies ranging from peanut butter fudge to caramel turtles and chocolate covered marshmallows to chocolate covered bacon were snapped up and packed away in little bags for someone’s late night craving.

In between the chocolate cheesecake bake-off and the ice cream eating contest, countless calories and smiles were seen on the faces of men, women and children of all ages.
The Timberstone Room was filled to capacity with guests who wanted to learn more about the history and health benefits of chocolate from Seven Springs’ Director of Food and Beverage
The contented sighs of guests who had their fill of chocolate enjoyed the scenic chairlift ride to the top of the mountain where the golden fall foliage is starting to unveil itself – a reminder that Autumnfest is just around the corner!
