Gary Stewart has a jazz degree from Berklee College of Music. In addition he studied with Jazz recording artists Peter Spraque and with adjunct professor Kenneth Karsh from Duquesne University.
For most of his adult life he has been playing guitar with various bands and ensembles. In addition to solo shows, he is currently one-half of a duet called Book Endz. His repertoire includes many styles of music ranging from jazz, rock, classical, blues, and country.
Gary’s “day job” is entertaining and inspiring the elders at retirement homes, as well as a long career of teaching guitar to students from 5 to 65 years of age. His enthusiasm for music is reflected in the way he teaches and inspires his students.
