Chris Jamison

12-1 p.m., 2-3 p.m. & 4-5 p.m. | Main Stage

Singer and songwriter Chris Jamison began honing his talent relatively early. Growing up a triplet in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, he immersed himself in musical theater, performing as part of various groups and learning all of the Broadway standards inside and out.

While attending Capital University in Ohio, he split his time between studying and marathon acoustic gigs at local restaurants and bars, drawing on influences ranging from Jason Mraz to Justin Timberlake. Despite “playing it safe” and pursuing a business degree, Chris jumped at the opportunity to audition for the seventh season of NBC’s The Voice, leaving college in the rearview.

“I had no expectations, and it ended up changing my entire life,” he smiles, especially remembering the moment all four coaches turned and he had his pick for coach.

With Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine as his coach, he eventually finished third as Pharrell Williams claimed, “Chris Jamison to me was nothing short of magical!” His debut single “Velvet” impressively moved over 77,000 digital downloads during its first-week of release as he eventually racked up over 400,000 sales, making him “one of the best-selling artists in the show’s history.”

His signature sound immediately enchants. Merging a pop palatability, blue-eyed soul, and an inimitable energy, he brings each song to life with swagger and style. “It’s pop, but it’s got more soul and meaning behind it,” he explains. “To me, it’s important not to simply sing a song, but to pour as much emotion into it as I can and really connect. It’s what I do.”

The band has New School and Old School sound with a repertoire of some of the greatest dance hits of today and the last three decades. Light Up the Moon is an illuminating experience.

Meredith Holiday has been performing at Seven Springs as a solo performer, for over a decade. Her style of music not only pleases the easy listening crowd, she can also perform high energy rock or country or music from just about any other genre. She plays six and twelve string guitars and a little bit of mandolin as well. Her singing style has been compared to the likes of anyone from Sheryl Crow to Mama Cass.
