Mountain Adventure Teams

These seven-week skiing and snowboarding programs will focus on skill development on the slopes or in our top-rated terrain parks with some of the best coaches on the mountain. The Mountain Adventure Team and Freestyle Team is open to all children and teens, ages 8-15, who are comfortable with all green terrain, riding chairlifts and are starting to explore blue terrain and beyond. The Mountain Adventure Team programs are available select Saturdays and Sundays, January through March, and teams will be formed based on age and ability level.

Mountain Adventure Team

The Mountain Adventure Team is open to all children and teens, ages 8-15, who are comfortable with all green terrain, riding chairlifts and are starting to explore blue terrain and beyond.

Seven Week Series | All 14 Sessions

The Mountain Adventure Team meets during the following Saturdays or Sundays. We ask that all participants in the program register prior to arrival, and check-in on the first day of the series between 8:30 and 9:15 a.m. Participants will meet on the snow for all remaining sessions promptly at 9:30 a.m.

  • Sessions length is from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Parents are responsible to pick children up between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. for lunch. Lessons will resume at 12:30 p.m.
  • Pick-up is at 2:30 p.m.
  • Jan. 8, 9, 22, 23, 29, 30 & Feb. 5, 6, 12, 13, 26, 27 & March 5, 6
  • Mountain Adventure Team will be made up of individuals not in the same traveling group. If you would like a group lesson with only individuals in your traveling group please sign up for a Private Herd Lesson.
  • Advance reservations are required
  • Lessons may be canceled up to 48 hours in advance of first starting date for a refund.
  • Lessons will check-in and meet the instructor at the Snowsports School Meeting area at 9:30 a.m.
  • Please allow ample time to arrive on time for your lesson. Late-comers will join the class in progress at the convenience of the group.
  • Helmets are required for all participants.
  • Ski and snowboard ticket, rental equipment or lunch are not included with the Mountain Adventure Team.
  • The Snowsports Lesson Rental area is open on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. for guests needing equipment rentals with their lesson.
  • There is a minimum skill level standard expected to participate on the Team. If you do not demonstrate appropriate on-snow skills, you will be directed to a Mountain Adventure Camp Session.
  • Mountain Adventure Team refunds are given only for injury/illness with medical documentation. Cancellation fee of $100 applies.
  • You must register for the seven-week program by January 1, 2022. Any late registrations will be assessed a $50 late fee.
  • Gratuities for Snowsports Instructors are not a requirement but an appropriate and appreciated gesture.

Mountain Adventure Freestyle Team

The Mountain Adventure Freestyle Team is open to all children and teens, ages 8-15, who are comfortable with all green terrain, riding chairlifts and exploring blue terrain, starting to venture into terrain parks. Previous Terrain Park experience is not required.
