Snow & Weather Report

Update: Wednesday, January 14, 2026, 6:28 a.m.

Good morning from snowy Seven Springs, skiers and riders! It’s a transition day on the mountain with soft and springy turns followed by a wintry blast lining up overnight. We're on the slopes from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Here’s what you need to know before you head out:

A full overnight groom on open terrain has delivered a wet granular corduroy finish to start the morning. Precip and elevated temps will keep surfaces on the swashy side through much of today, then colder air overnight will firm things up with natural snow mixing in to keep it fresh.

• Freestyle terrain is open in three parks with 6 features in Santa’s Beard, 8 features in Arctic Blast and 14 features with a jump line in The Alley.
• Philip’s Run, Fawn Lane, and Deer Pass are designated Slow Zones from top to bottom.
• Uphill travel is closed today; check here daily for access updates and be sure to review the Uphill Access Policy.
• Keep an eye on Lift & Terrain status for the latest access info.

It’s currently 39° on the mountain with light rain showers. As a cold front moves in today, we will transition to a frozen mix, then to all snow later this afternoon. Snow continues overnight as NW winds set up, bringing a steady drop in temps and allowing cold air to fully take hold. NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 5 p.m. this afternoon through 5 p.m. Thursday with 2–4 inches throughout the region and enhanced totals likely along the ridgelines. Snow showers will linger through Thursday before tapering off in the evening. Rounds of snow keep on coming heading into this weekend with another wave arriving late Friday, and a snowy Saturday following close behind. Cold air will stay locked in through the weekend and into early next week.

Snowmaking operations are currently offline as mild conditions move through the region. Temps fall within favorable-optimal parameters late tonight through early Friday morning, then another wave of arctic air arrives Saturday night. The team is positioned to take full advantage of these windows. They will be focusing their efforts on reinforcing and advancing coverage as conditions allow.

It's Wednesday and the Night Shift Special is active tonight! Ride under the lights and save with $49 night lift tickets and $12 night rentals available with advance online purchase. More info at 7springs.com.

We'll see you on the snow!
