Snow & Weather Report

Update: Monday, March 2, 2026, 6:23 a.m.

Good morning from snowy Seven Springs, skiers and riders! Pleasant day ahead across the mountain. The forecast turns rather spring-like later this week, a little 'too' seasonable if you ask us. If you can carve out some time today, you'll be rewarded with a nice session of quiet slopes, peeks of sun and cool mountain air. The mountain is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with Gunnar Express spinning until 5:30 p.m. Here’s what else you need to know before you head out:

Conditions are in nice late-season shape across the mountain with a machine-groomed frozen granular surface to start the day. Temps just below the freezing mark will keep things on the firmer side throughout the day and into the evening. Snowmaking operations are online laying down a refresh to select areas this morning. Be mindful of late season variability and changing conditions throughout the day.

• Freestyle terrain is open with Arctic Blast (12), Santa's Beard (8), Foggy Bowl (7), The Alley (34), and The Spot (13' pipe).
• Uphill travel is open today; check daily for access updates and be sure to review the Uphill Access Policy.
• Philip’s Run, Fawn Lane, and Deer Pass are designated Slow Zones from top to bottom.
• Check Lift & Terrain status regularly for real time updates on terrain access and lift service information.

It’s currently 23° on the mountain with cloudy skies and calm northwest winds. We'll be chilly and dry with temps in the 30s and a mix of sun and clouds today as the latest weather disturbance slides south of us. Conditions begin changing late Monday night, and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 1 a.m. tonight through 1 p.m. Tuesday as a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain begins late tonight, changing to rain or drizzle by daybreak on Tuesday morning.

Once we get past the midweek system, the calendar starts to gain the upper hand. A southwest flow sets up bringing warm air and intermittent showers Thursday through the weekend. Saturday and Sunday stay on the mild side with passing showers and some quieter stretches in between. Some long-range signals suggest that a wintry pattern could try to work back into the region later this month. No specifics or guarantees yet, but March has a well-known history of surprises.

We'll see you on the snow!
