Snow & Weather Report
Update: Sunday, February 22, 2026, 6:15 a.m.
Good morning from snowy Seven Springs, skiers and riders! A sleeper of a nor’easter is rumbling awake over the mountain this morning. This surprise headliner is just getting started and projected totals have ramped into the double digits, setting us up for a proper storm day. We're getting down from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Here’s what you need to know before you head out:
Groomed frozen granular surfaces start the day with a firm base topped with a fresh finish of corduroy and a light coating of new snow. As storm conditions ramp up this morning, dense natural snow will stack up and begin filling in across the mountain. We'll see a progressively fluffier feel underfoot as the day progresses, building depth with every passing hour and continuing past closing time this evening. As always, be mindful of changing conditions and variability throughout the day.
• Freestyle terrain is open with Arctic Blast (12), Santa's Beard (8) and The Alley (34), Foggy Bowl (7, top access open), and The Spot (13' pipe, 2 jumps).Â
• Philip’s Run, Fawn Lane, and Deer Pass are designated Slow Zones from top to bottom.
• Uphill travel is open today; check daily for access updates and be sure to review the Uphill Access Policy.
• Check Lift & Terrain status regularly for real time updates on terrain access and lift service information.
It’s currently 28° on the mountain with snow showers and light west-southwest winds. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect through 1 AM Tuesday with a total of 6-12" of snow currently expected. Snow will continue through today with occasional heavier bursts and blowing snow may develop that may briefly reduce visibility, especially as winds increase and shift to the northwest later today and into tonight. Strong gusts will take hold Monday as colder air settles in behind the system.Â
After the storm tapers off, the coldest temps of the week arrive Monday night into Tuesday as lows drop into the teens and dry weather takes over early Tuesday. Snow showers return Tuesday night and linger into Wednesday morning before clouds take over and temps briefly rebound into the upper 30s. That small warmup nudges us into a mix Wednesday night, then Thursday will trend milder with periods of rain and minor snow accumulations on the back side as colder air returns Thursday night. By Friday the system clears out. Skies gradually brighten with seasonable temps and calm conditions, setting up a quiet, comfortable and sunny stretch heading into the upcoming weekend.
We'll see you on the snow!
