Snow & Weather Report
Update: Wednesday, February 4, 2026, 6:28 a.m.
Good morning from snowy Seven Springs, skiers and riders! Quiet weather and clean carving conditions have come together to create the ideal backdrop for a refreshing day in the mountain air. If you’ve been waiting for the perfect midweek cruising session, this is it. The slopes are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Here’s what you need to know before you head out:
Coverage is excellent across open terrain this morning with fine granular snow conditions across the mountain. The grooming team put the work in overnight, laying down a clean finish of corduroy to start the day. Surfaces are set up nicely for confident carving with reliable top to bottom edge engagement. Giant Steps and Tyrol are ungroomed. Later today, ski-off may gradually polish up a few slick spots in high-traffic areas. Be mindful of changing conditions as the day progresses.
• Freestyle terrain is open with Arctic Blast (12), Santa's Beard (7) and The Alley (20) and Foggy Bowl (7, hike only). The Spot is closed for snowmaking.Â
• Philip’s Run, Fawn Lane, and Deer Pass are designated Slow Zones from top to bottom.
• Uphill travel is OPEN today; check daily for access updates and be sure to review the Uphill Access Policy.
• Check Lift & Terrain status regularly for real time updates on terrain access and lift service information.
It’s currently 14° on the mountain under mostly cloudy skies with calm north-northwest winds. Dry weather will dominate through today and Thursday as high pressure maintains control. Afternoon highs will reach just under 20° today and the upper teens tomorrow, while overnight lows fall into the single digits both nights. A brief, isolated flurry is possible this evening as weak moisture brushes the area, but the overall pattern remains quiet and calm through Thursday.Â
Attention turns to a fast-moving clipper system arriving Friday afternoon. Snow develops during the second half of the day, bringing light accumulations through Friday night before tapering early Saturday morning as the system exits. In its wake, colder air will build back in throughout the region.
Early next week brings modest moderation but temps remain below freezing. Monday rises into the upper 20s under mostly cloudy skies, followed by partly cloudy conditions Tuesday with highs around 30°. Beyond that, the broader pattern stays wintry and active with additional snow chances returning mid to late week as another series of disturbances moves through the region.
